Ways  To Make Money In  The Stock Markete?

No matter what business you are in, maximizing the return on your capital is an important consideration. Investing some of the company's profits in the stock market can help you prepare for your eventual retirement, allow you to build a nest egg for your children's college education or just give you more money to put back in the business.

Step 1
Research mutual funds you can use to grow your nest egg over time. Index mutual funds can be a particularly good choice for a business as they tend to have low costs and very high tax efficiency. Keeping your taxes low is an important consideration as a business owner, and the low turnover rate of index funds means that they tend to accumulate fewer taxable capital gains than other funds.

Step 2
Review the fees and expenses associated with each fund you consider. This information is included in the fund prospectus, which, depending on the fund family, may be available online. If the prospectus is not available online, request a paper copy by calling the fund family, then examine that prospectus carefully. Keep in mind that the fees for a quality index fund can be as low as 0.20 percent, so you can safely use that as a benchmark.

Step 3
Avoid the temptation to time the market. Use a dollar cost averaging strategy instead by setting up a direct transfer from your business checking or savings account into the mutual fund of your choice. Investing business profits in the fund by dollar cost averaging helps you accumulate more shares of the fund when the market is declining and fewer when it is high, helping you to "buy low and sell high."

Step 4
Use part of your stock market investment capital to establish a SEP-IRA or other small business retirement fund. Putting money aside in a SEP-IRA reduces your current tax burden and allows the money to accumulate over time. You can set up a SEP-IRA with most mutual fund families and brokerage firms, and with many banks as well.
